Eileen O'Meara is an American artist known for her hand-drawn films "Agnes Escapes from the Nursing Home", "That Strange Person", and "Panic Attack!". 

 

She produced and directed animated spots for clients including HBO, Warner Home Video, Motown and Heal The Bay.

 

O'Meara's independent short films have screened at hundreds of international film festivals including Sundance, The London Film Festival, Palm Springs and Aspen Shortsfest, aired on PBS, Showtime, and The Movie Channel, and won numerous awards worldwide.

 

Her work is featured in “Dancing with the Sun – Selected Shorts from Sundance Film Festival”, “Get Animated!” by Tim Maloney, “Making it Big in Shorts” by Kim Adelman. 

 

O'Meara received the NEA Media Arts Fellowship, Women in Film Foundation Hollywood Film and Video Grant, and the Stephen Hunter Flick-Creative Cafe Post Production Grant.
